Welcome to my collection!  I started collecting Postcards in my youth, paused for a while while life took me in a different direction.  Now in my 6th decade I am back! My interests are Northern Manitoba, Port Hope Ontario, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

Over the winter (2023/24) I will be adding cards to this site so come back often and enjoy!

Manitoba is situated just about in the middle of Canada and The Pas  is north of the 53rd parallel and 35 kilometers from the Manitoba and Saskatchewan border. Our major industry is pulp and paper ,fishing and agriculture. We are also a center of education with a vibrant post secondary being offered at  the University College of the North.

Three communities make up the area, the Town of The Pas, Opaskwayak and the Rural Municipality of Kelsey.  For more information on the area visit this site!

Some interesting videos from Travel Manitoba Winter  Summer

I want to thank a number of people for assisting or adding to my collection or for local knowledge, including Gary Morrish, Ralph McLean, Murray Harvey, Sonny Lavallee and others.
